School Visit

Poplar Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) attended Our Lady and St. Joseph primary school as part of its Careers Week to speak with pupils about policing. Officers shared information about careers in the police service, the skills and qualities required for the role, and the importance of serving the community.

Officers also displayed a marked police response vehicle (blue light car), giving pupils the opportunity to explore the vehicle, learn about the equipment it carries, and understand how it is used to respond to emergencies and keep the public safe.

The event gave pupils the chance to ask questions, interact with local officers, and gain a valuable insight into policing as a career. Poplar SNT is proud to support local schools and inspire young people through educational engagement and community outreach.
